This is not a nuclear phenomenon
editThe categories in which this article is included seem to suggest that these electrons are emitted by atomic nuclei, but they are not. This exoelectron emission is similar to the photoelectric effect but with a time lag between the cause of the excitation and the resulting emission. Thus it would be more appropriate to categorize it as a chemical process than a nuclear one. JRSpriggs (talk) 07:11, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
