Traction power vs electrical power
editSomething looks a little off here, but it could be just that the electrical system is unusual. Anyway, 10 kV and rated traction power of 1,475 hp (1,100 kW), with 50% loss, would imply the system runs on 2 amps. Just sounds weird by modern standards where DC electric traction draws on the order of 100 amps. But that doesn't mean it's wrong. ☆ Bri (talk) 15:31, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
