Uhh... there needs to be an article for the actual meaning of "exploded drawing". Such drawings are very common in various fields of engineering, where intricate machines must be depicted with a high level of accuracy and understandability. I'm very suprised that such an article does not yet exist. Just search for images using google or yahoo, using the term "exploded drawing". See this [1] image for an example of an exploded drawing.
