editI don't see why the explusion of non residental tamils from colombo cannot stay here. They are both similar cases. One done by the bad side the other good... Watchdogb 17:10, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
- I agree that the expulsion of "non-residential" tamils from Colombo is not only similar, but also relevant because they both concern Sri Lanka. But "One done by the bad side the other good.."? Which is the "good" side?Ilankaali 04:32, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
- "Which is the good side" ? That is up to who you believe the good side is. :) Watchdogb 13:35, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
- Your side, of course. --92.2.116.183 (talk) 02:14, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

- It seems there is only a weak similarity between the two events. The LTTE expelled all Muslims, Muslims who lived in the LTTE zone. The SL government only expelled "non-resident" Tamils from Colombo who couldn't adequately explain their reason for being there. So yes they were both expulsions, but the first was a blanket expulsion of a group from their homes, the other was an expulsion of some people who were not resident.
