What?
editI thought Backlash was always after WrestleMania? Danny Boy 420 (talk) 21:43, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
- First, this is not a messageboard. This talkpage is for discussing improvements to the article. Second, WWE did a radical change to their PPV schedule (see List of WWE pay-per-view events for the current 2010 schedule). TJ Spyke 23:35, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
C'mon, dont be mean with him, he just want to know an answer. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.172.72.41 (talk) 20:47, 13 March 2010 (UTC) TJ Spyke is notorious for being rude to other editors. He merely needed to mention the List of WWE PPVS. There was no need for being flippant.
Wrestlers will portray a villain or a hero...
edit"Wrestlers will portray a villain or a hero as they follow a series of events that build tension, and culminate into a wrestling match or series of matches"
Why is this stock phrase found in virtually every wrestling article? If it is necessary to provide such an explanation, a little variety would not go amiss. --Jameboy (talk) 01:04, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
Matches
editWhoever got the matches for the card, please do not post up matches for the card before they're broadcast. Whatever it says on the card when you purchase tickets is always subject to change. Any matches you post up need a source. More than likely it'll come from wwe.com. Weatherman289 (talk) 07:11, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
I would also like to ask that some matches on the card (HHH/Sheamus, Swagger/Edge or Jericho) may be a surefire thing, please do not post them here until both the match and the stipulation have been announced. And NO SMACKDOWN SPOILERS. 95.149.214.213 (talk) 21:38, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
Main event matches
editJust to be sure, all the main events are "hardcore" matches, (singapore cane match, table match, ect.) right? Cheyenne Cigars (talk) 04:15, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
- They don't call this PPV Extreme Rules for nothing. During this PPV, all matches are extreme, even the Divas are going extreme.--Yugiohmike2001 (talk) 04:32, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
Even the divas, oh snap?! Cheyenne Cigars (talk) 05:31, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
So, I guess the divas are gonna be in Extreme Rules matches too? American Man 5790 02:34, 6 April 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by American Man 5790 (talk • contribs)
I highly doubt the divas will use weapons. Danny Boy 420 02:40, 6 April 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Danny Boy 420 (talk • contribs)
- I don't know, TNA just had a Knockouts First Blood match, you know WWE will want to upstage that.Freebird (talk) 05:59, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
- Will be hard with WWE's current "no blood" policy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.82.214.23 (talk) 12:32, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
Same lineage?
editDoes Extreme Rules carry the same lineage as One Night Stand? When you go on the wwe.com page for Extreme Rules and click on history it only brings up last years event. Mark handscombe (talk) 20:04, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, Extreme Rules has the same lineage as One Night Stand. WWE.com has only last year's event because they delete past events. 2008's event was called One Night Stand: Extreme Rules.--Yugiohmike2001 (talk) 20:07, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
Can someone protect this page?
editThis page is getting pretty vanalized. Somebody needs to protect this page from non-users. I don't know how to protect an entire page.--Yugiohmike2001 (talk) 00:40, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- I've requested page protection--Steam Iron 01:06, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
ShoMiz vs The Hart Dynasty
editShouldn't this be added? The Miz accepted the challenge on the condition that Bret admit ShoMiz is the better tag team at the draft. .--aguyok (talk) 8:11, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
No because the stipulation was if David Hart Smith defeated The Miz there would be a match at Extreme Rules, but if The Miz won then Bret would proclaim ShoMiz the greatest tag team. Since The Miz won, Hart will proclaim this (next week, not the Draft) but the match at Extreme Rules won't happen. Mark handscombe (talk) 21:07, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
- Bret Hart did not proclaim that ShowMiz is the greatest tag team off all time last Monday on RAW at the Izod Center in New Jersey because the majority of the RAW roster got stranded in Europe because of the volcano in Iceland, Eyjafjallajökull, going off while the majority of the RAW roster was in Europe on a European Tour. Maybe Bret Hart will declair ShowMiz the greatest tag team off all time during the WWE Draft, tomorrow, April 26, 2010 or just maybe the WWE will forget about it because of the volcano in Iceland, Eyjafjallajökull, going off. I hope that Bret Hart fufills the stipulation and declaires ShowMiz the greatest tag team off all time. If Bret Hart does declair ShowMiz the greatest tag team of all time during the WWE Draft, tomorrow, April 26, 2010, is this notable in the article? Gibsonj338 (talk) 21:49, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
Time each match took
editDoes anyone know how long each match took? If anyone knows, can that person add that to the article. That would be great. Gibsonj338 (talk) 01:03, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
Times of the matches Edit request
edit5 or 6 of the match times are inaccurate by 2 or 3 minutes apiece. Since the article is semi-protected I can't do anything to fix them. Here are the correct times: CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio: 15:58, Shad vs. JTG: 4:42, Jack Swagger vs. Randy Orton: 13:47, Sheamus vs. Triple H: 15:50, Michelle McCool vs. Beth Pheonix: 6:36, Edge vs. Chris Jericho: 19:57, Cena vs. Batista: 24:32. I don't have a specific source other than these are the match times I recorded myself while watching the event on disc and using the "Display Time" feature on my player. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.93.112.140 (talk) 00:34, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
