I made the changes I made because I felt that readers needed to know what types of extreme environments are classified as. I put a few examples of types of extreme environments to hopefully teach people the correct terms for types of extreme environments. I also added the information about the scientists studies because I wanted to bring up the point that there are studies going on today and things are being researched about this topic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jlom05 (talk • contribs) 16:30, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
duh
editLiving somewhere with average highs in the 20sF or 30sF year round is not extreme nor does it cause any harm to humans. Any human on earth can live comfortably with Minneapolis winters year round or with New Jersey winters year round. No one would die from it period. Common sense bro, pass it on. Temperatures below 40F are NOT EXTREME.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:2:2380:27E:8D0E:5F1B:EEB2:4D72 (talk) 04:27, 8 February 2015 (UTC)
