Firinda Makarna =/= pastitsio

edit

the specific merge has absolutely no logic. Firinda Makarna literally means "oven pasta" in Turkish, and there are dozens or hundreds of "oven pasta" versions, pastitsio is just a part of them. Why should "Firinda Makarna" be included as a pastitsio version? It lacks any etymoloigical relation, it lacks basic ingredients of pastitsio, like Bechamel cream, and more specifically it doesn't seem to have anything more in common with pastitsio than other "oven pasta" dishes not labelled as "pastitsio" have with pastitsio. And, the last but not least, no historical source out of all those presented in the original "pastitsio" article, have proved that "firinda Makarna" derive from pastitsio, or that the two dishes have common roots — Preceding unsigned comment added by Snachtbogen (talkcontribs) 21:35, 27 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
