Reference ideas for F-Zero 99 The following references may be useful when improving this article in the future:

More coverage needed
editI would like to see more coverage like DT and TechRadar that actually reviews the game and not just regurgitate the announcement per WP:GNG. This will deter the "need" to add improperly cited material. I already had to remove originally researched development information here. « Ryūkotsusei » 18:30, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
Infobox credit fields
editAs explained here, these names add no meaningful context. The only popular persons to F-Zero and/or Nintendo are in the development section. I try to stay clear of [person] does [role] simply for the sake of having it. The infobox itself is optional despite "every" article has one. Maybe seek a third opinion at the Wikiproject. @Boyohboy231:, « Ryūkotsusei » 22:29, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
- what is your purpose of omitting the work of the people who made this game? why are you doing that? it doest matter what you do or do not, we as editors should make it clear as much as we can at the very least on the lead staff, its the bare minimum to credit them in this page, a thing that 99% of the game pages do. In 10 years of editing wikipedia this is the first time ive seen someone doing that Boyohboy231 (talk) 15:32, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
- Readers do not gain anything significant from knowing these roles,[1] particularly in the context of the article's development section - why/how this game exists. Mentioning NST is sufficient. its the bare minimum to credit them in this page. According to whom? Is this in a manual of style? Maybe seek a third opinion at Wikiproject VG. « Ryūkotsusei » 21:38, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
- I'm a firm believer that the infobox must give at a glance information that already exists in the article. Everything mentions in it should exist in the pose, with sourcing, and context. If it's not, then the names in the box are meaningless, especially if they aren't independently notable. -- ferret (talk) 17:04, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
- Precisely. For example, the director is a DigiPen graduate ...and? What sway does he have within Nintendo and for this game/franchise? The media wants to know this franchise's future, especially after F-Zero 99's existence - as laid out in this article. The media is asking Miyamoto and Imamura. No one is speaking to NST. So are we really listing staff just for the sake of it? My impression is NST was simply told what do to from Corporate, so any media inquiries go there. « Ryūkotsusei » 14:46, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
