The result of the move request was: The consensus for FASTER (NZX) is not moved. Though WP:NATURAL disambiguation is generally preferable, the policy text discourages the usage of "obscure" names strictly on the basis of naturalness, and the consensus in this discussion is that "Fully Automated Screen Trading and Electronic Registration" is too little-used to be an appropriate title. The proposed title was also described by one participant as a "long mouthful", indicating it would be dispreferred under WP:CONCISE.

For FASTER (software), however, I find no consensus. Similar arguments were raised about natural disambiguation vs. obscurity of the proposed terminology; however, the nominator also noted that the current title of "FASTER (software)" is insufficiently disambiguated, and this assertion was not contested. Because of this, I don't feel that the balance of arguments constitute a consensus for keeping FASTER (software) at its current title. • Oppose move of FASTER (NZX) to Fully Automated Screen Trading and Electronic Registration. 'FASTER' is by far the more commonly known name; it was rarely called by the long name. However, I don't think the topic is notable, plus the article is poorly referenced and out of date, so I propose it be trimmed down and merged into NZX. I have no knowledge of the other topic and no opinion on that one. Nurg (talk) 10:08, 21 November 2022 (UTC)
• Weak support it probably makes sense per MOS:ACROTITLE but "First Automated Teleprocessing Environment Reponder" only has around 8 Google hits which is a strong indication its not common usage or perhaps just not notable.
