Fair use rationale for Image:FC Shakhtyor.gif
editImage:FC Shakhtyor.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

FC Shakhtsyor Salihorsk → FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk — Relisted. Vegaswikian (talk) 21:02, 18 November 2010 (UTC) A request to rename the article about Belarusian football club to another spelling per naming convention for non-english sport teams and also to match the spelling on official club logo and website.NineInchRuiner (talk) 15:01, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
- Can you be specific as to where this naming convention for non-english sport teams is, with a wikilink to it please? Andrewa (talk) 19:14, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Naming conventions (sports): In cases where there is some ambiguity as to the official spelling of a club's name in English, the name most commonly used by the English-language media should be used. NineInchRuiner (talk) 21:53, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you! So, the case for the move is that it's the common name. Have you any evidence supporting this? (The official name on the website and logo doesn't seem to enter into it, which is what I'd understand from other guidelines too.) Andrewa (talk) 00:18, 12 November 2010 (UTC)

FC Shakhtsyor Salihorsk logo and club name
editThere`s new logo the club started to use last season (before 2010 season started) - http://footballmanager.by/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/shgakhter.jpeg You can find it out on their official web-site - http://fcshakhter.by/
And they use name "Shakhter" for the team on web-site. "Shakhtsyor" is too strange for non-Belarusian and non-Russian speaking people. But they use that name in English part of their web-site - http://www.fcshakhter.by/index.php/english.html

The result of the move request was: moved. Unopposed request. Number 57 14:17, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
FC Shakhtyor Salihorsk → FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk – Club is referred to by its Russian name in majority of sources. Club website + logo, Older website with English page (current website lacks international version), uefa.com, Old club logo with city name. Also note that "Shakhtyor" is more correct than "Shakhter" due to properties of letter ё. BlameRuiner (talk) 08:14, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
