According to the WSJ (https://www.wsj.com/politics/national-security/trump-hegseth-new-warship-the-battleship-63367854?gaa_at=eafs&gaa_n=AWEtsqdNrJXD17JszGBZxQjpbkeldADm1BofzE91bjST5o051ey3Ir7sG5tr-q-CFOM%3D&gaa_ts=6949b482&gaa_sig=TDnlcdYa_ar0mG0nY-0LumjdXZ4p1paFJG1qHYG3fqNmVVdwkoQ0F57_jZ1fc_oqInBd8HyiuniQRWGNuNqdYw%3D%3D), the new battleship announced will weigh 30,000 tons. That’s significantly larger than FF(X), which is based on the NSC. The Trump-class battleship program is a separate project, so I’m suggesting we move this page back to its original name FF(X). This section is deeply questionable. There's about a 20-30 year difference in date of construction and -50%/+100% difference in displacement between these ship classes, not only are they not equivalent, they're not even closely related. ~2026-43599-25 (talk) ~2026-43599-25 (talk) 22:14, 6 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
