this article is more of a rant against FIFA than an informative article about FIFA's (admittedly sometimes bizarre) transfer rules. Punkydawg 14:18, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
WHAT?
editHow is this a rant against FIFA? It is fact, It is an on going court case! These players are being stopped from making a living in their own country! (Irish and EU Citizens) Id love to know how you believe this is just a rant!

Use of the sentences "Everybody bar the fans and staff at Cork City FC has now given up hope. Fan power will [sic] previal!" suggests that the writer is far from neutral in this dispute and is using Wikipedia as a propaganda tool. Punkydawg 14:11, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

What is FIFAs reasoning?
editThe reasons that FIFA might waive this rule are made very clear. What are the reasons that FIFA might impose this rule in the first place?
(Scotty bloke! If it was too late to get these two football players on the field without any hassle, they could feel bound to give up hope at some stage. FIFA would agree.)
