I've added Anja Parson on the list of most succesful women. As of 2003 she "only" have three medals. But if someone have the knowledge/skills/motivation to bring the lists up to date, you will see that she's climbing that list. As of ongoing WC in Åre she now have 7 medals. (5 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze.)

And I had to add Pernilla Wiberg. She won six WC medals during her career, four of them gold. She's got to be on the list.

Note when last updated

edit

We really should note when the records lists are updated. Otherwise it's hard to know if they are up to date or not!

Error in men's total medals

edit

Why is the USA listed twice in men's total medals. I believe that should be Canada in tied for 16th place with Poland not the USA.

list sort order

edit

The lists should be resorted to use gold medals as the first sort order, then silver, then bronze.

Someone with 10 silver and 10 bronze medals should be listed lower than someone with 1 gold (and four bronze, say, to pass the 5 medals total limit). 85.227.226.160 21:52, 14 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Why? It's a list of the countries and skiers who have the most medals. Having ten medals (of any kind) seems more notable to me than having one gold. Lots of people have one gold. Only five skiers in history have 10 medals.213.114.184.85 20:32, 16 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Team Events

edit

In the last two championships they have had team events too. How should we handle this in the medal lists? Should we lists those aswell? 213.114.184.85 17:31, 18 February 2007 (UTC).Reply

FYI. The finalists for the 2013 alpine ski championships are in the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 article if you wish to look and create a new article. Chris 20:51, 15 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Multiple medalists

edit

Are there skiers who medaled in all 5 disciplines? 213.149.62.160 (talk) 16:35, 30 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

No mention on how this all works.

edit

As title. Points, qualification, etc. Nothing for any newbie to understand how this all works. Disgracefiul 2A0E:425:7DE5:0:A4BD:9674:CF9F:EC14 (talk) 10:29, 11 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
