Better formatting needed?
editI have added a lot of information from two articles in the March and April 1987 issues of Trains Magazine, written by Robert Aldag Jr, F-M sales engineer and later manager of the railroad division (1946-1960). I don't know much about how to best organize a Wikipedia article so maybe someone can move the info under appropriate sub-headings? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Autonerd (talk • contribs) 02:24, 23 January 2021 (UTC)
Competition
editI will start making some edits based on a Trains article by FM's sales manager. For starters, Erie was not a PA competitor -- Alco PA was still half a year from introduction when the Erie-Builts rolled out. It was just as much an FT competitor. People see the A1A-A1A wheel arrangement and assume it competed with other passenger locos. I'll try to add some references that clear that up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Autonerd (talk • contribs) 17:45, 22 January 2021 (UTC)
KCS
editEight of the KCS Erie Builts were repowered by EMD. Will post the data later. --SSW9389 11:29, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
