editdoes anybody object to renaming this article FN FNP? --Philip Laurence (talk) 01:12, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
Yes. As per the Firearms Project naming guidelines, the full manufacturer's name should be used in the article title. Therefore, this article should be FN Herstal FNP, as the company's official name is FN Herstal (as per the introduction to the Fabrique Nationale article). -Jersey emt (talk) 15:59, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
I actually think the page needs to be split into the 9/40 and a FNP 45 page. The 9 and 40 variants are fairly similar but the FNP 45 is just different enough is different enough to justify a seperate article or at least a seperate section. I took apart my FNP last night and added a design section so if anyone has an FNP 45, if try could at least add a paragraph about the 45 variant. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Istomas (talk • contribs) 18:41, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
Also, is the DAO version still produced or is it discontinued? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Istomas (talk • contribs) 19:01, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
