Does this article really serve a purpose?

I walked through, flew over, and drove along the roads of the Central Highlands in 1964, visiting Pleiku, Ban Ma Thuot, and Cheo Reo. I stayed at the CIDG camp at Buon Beng and at the unit's forward operating base, and I spent three days walking through the mountains with two of its companies. I got to know the interpreter Y Mlo Druin (Philippe Drouin) fairly well. He was a recruiter for Fulro, as was his colleague Kpa Doh, and both later became leaders in the movement. I have read everything I can find in the archives, online, and in books about the insurgency, but I have to say that I just cannot understand this article at all. It is worse than useless because it may discourage readers from pursuing the topic any further, when there is already solid Wiki article about FULRO at United Front for the Liberation of Oppressed Races. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AVGbuff (talk • contribs) 13:52, 23 August 2017 (UTC)

Messy

This is one of the most messiest articles ever written and should be avoided at all costs. The bulky and repetition of the content is an eyesore and is almost impossible to fix. Norewritingofhistory (talk) 18:24, 16 June 2021 (UTC)

Deletion Nomination

I removed some misinformation on here, which can be viewed in Edit History but the amount of possible false info on this article is concerning. It was up for many years. Claimed that 200,000 Montagnards were killed by the Vietnamese government after the Vietnam War. Sources? A advocacy groups with political biases and aren’t supported by any reliable, neutral, academic, historical studies or independent sources anywhere on the internet. Claims of forced mass sterilization, genocide and cultural genocide. which no reliable human rights organizations or international bodies have corroborated any of those claims.

I removed 2 repeated paragraphs which claimed

 “Communist Vietnamese government implemented a genocidal and discriminatory policy against the native Montagnards in the Central Highlands, banning Montagnard languages and implementing Vietnamese language, having Vietnamese men marry Montagnard girls and women by force, colonizing the Central Highlands with massive amounts of Vietnamese settlers form the lowlands, inflicting terror and on the Montagnards with the Cong An, and making them perform slave labor, erecting plantations for rubber, tea, and coffee on the Central Highlands after destroying the vegetation in the area and due to these "apartheid-like conditions". 

It had a source to a book. Turns out that book was entirely fictional and disguised as a ‘reliable source’

This article has a lot of references, but you do not know if it is genuine. The serial sockpuppeter who created this article in 2016, (which pretty much all of what he wrote has remained until now) had a long history of abuse and nationalistic writings on Wiki. Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Milktaco/Archive dating back to 2012. This article Contains blatant POV pushing, serious misinformation, non verifiable info/sources, trouble knowing if the provided sources are genuine, repetition of paragraphs, some ficton, very messy. I also feel like this article is not necessary as most of what can be understood here can be read at the United Front for the Liberation of Oppressed Races (FULRO) article. 202.53.53.118 (talk) 08:06, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
