I noticed there were several places in this article where the word "mutate" was used. Is there a difference in Marvel terms between a mutant and a mutate? If not, shouldn't the more common word be used consistently? MK202:50, 14 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
Found the answer in another article. It appears, in the Marvel universe, mutants are people with naturally occurring mutations and mutates are people with artificially induced mutations. MK219:53, 23 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
