I am having a dispute with an editor and would like to have a third party editor look into it if possible please. I keep having a Succession Box deleted from Kristine W's "Fade", even though it states there is no consensus on the use of these boxes here. I would like it reinstated as it does lend itself to the article without having to undo it again. It is used as a navigation resource for these songs hitting #1 on the US Billboard Charts. If it would be preferred to only use one, the one being deleted would be the best choice in this case! Thank you! IndyLogan (talk) 17:02, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
- Let consensus be reached before adding something that failed to reach consensus in a long running discussion that even went through a WP:Request for Comment. You should read the debate to see what the issues are. Since the end of the discussion, they are no longer added to articles (nor are they removed from articles that had them prior to the discussion). That's the way it needs to be until a true consensus can be reached. You are free to start up that discussion again. Succession boxes are intended to move from one article to another. How does it help if neither Hollywood Tonight or Judas (Lady Gaga song) use them? --Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars (talk) 17:26, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
- The request was actually made for another editor to look at since you are the one deleting the box. There are other songs that went to #1 that use the succession box after the discussion was ended. Please don't just target this one if you are letting them stay. IndyLogan (talk) 00:05, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
- You seriously think I am just targeting this one. Look at any album or song article that reached #1 in 2011 (two examples above), thus after the discussion. None have them. --Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars (talk) 00:31, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
