Talk:Fafner in the Azure
name change
editTo put it short: Fafner in the Azure and Fafner of the Azure are both valid translations, however: only the former is the official version. Therefore I'm going to change it in a couple of weeks unless there's massive protest here (or someone beats me to it). Twincast 11:26, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
Can you tell me where it refers to "Fafner in the Azure" as the official translation? Fansubs DON'T count.Tony Myers 06:29, 17 January 2007 (UTC)- You'll have to excuse me for talking out of turn... "Azure" is a color (blue); in fact it's the color of the sky. When you say something came "out of the blue", it means it came "out of the sky". "In the blue" means "in the sky" or possibly "lost in the world". "Of the blue" doesn't mean anything at all, but theoretically could mean "created by the sky". Given that the mecha can fly, and that the story involves leaving a protected city and going out into the world, it seems like (at least as an english speaker), "Fafnir in the Azure" would make a lot more sense. ozort
- Sorry, I was being ignorant. Moved. Tony Myers (talk) 09:03, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Neo UN? Really?
editDoes Geneon call it that? If so, tell me. Otherwise I'll change it to New UN, because Neo UN frankly sounds retarded (and as a language-mix not existing in the Japanese version is also less accurate). Twincast 12:27, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
character section

Weapons listing
editThere is a flag for for clean up citing "in universe" descriptions. The descriptions seem straight forward and even reference outside material, ie. Evangelion. Furthermore, what can be said about the systems other than acknowledging their existance without using "in universe" material? I'm going to remove the flag unless someone has a more specific complaint. Nkuzmik (talk) 03:36, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
Finishing the anime episodes
editIs it alright if I can finish the anime episode summary. I'm not sure if just watching the series throught he netflix rental will be enough though.
Reviews
editHere's a list of reviews for the anime (all reliable sources):
Character list
editI've noticed that there's not a character list, for there are many characters. Anyone want in? Hugosworld92 (talk) 21:46, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
There are many relatives in this movie, and their Romaji family names are written differently sometimes. I'm fixing it. --Beroal (talk) 20:48, 31 October 2014 (UTC)
Wagner
editWhilst this anime article suffers from the usual problem of being entirely in-universe, how is it possible that Richard Wagner doesn't even get a single mention? Andy Dingley (talk) 15:01, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
