HA-typo
editThere is a typo in Hütteroth and Abdulfattah, p. 130, for this place. They give as location (167/193); this is clearly wrong (nothing there on the maps); it is showed correctly on the HA-maps, around (167/198). (Much like the mistake on Allar, see Talk:Allar,_Jerusalem#Mixup.) Also: Pringle gives 1666.1988 for the church/mosque. Huldra (talk)
Crusader-history
editAccording to the Pringle p. 205; in 1179 CE a bull from Pope Alexander III confirms that this village and half its tithes belonged to the abbey of St Mary on Mount Sion, (NB: what is the (Hiestand, Vorarbeiten, III, 284 no 113) -ref?). According to Conder, 1890, p. 34: presently in Neby Daud in Jerusalem, ie. David's Tomb. Cheers, Huldra (talk) 20:32, 26 December 2013 (UTC)
