Testify
editIs the chorus of the song Testify a nod to the song "Johnny Kick a Hole in the Sky" by Red Hot Chili Peppers? It has similar tune and lyrics. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SurfyDead (talk • contribs) 12:50, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
Unofficial ban?
edit- This episode hasn't been shown in the UK at all in the last several years. The Simpsons goes out at 6pm on weekdays, and sometimes another episode around 11pm. They've recently started censoring bits of the 6pm showings. I found the bit with the leg traumatising when I was little, so I wouldn't be surprised if they don't show it any more because of that.JaffaCakeLover (talk) 13:43, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
- This episode was shown on Channel 4 tonight, with the gory leg shots intact. Looks like their censorship is only for suggestive language. Itchy & Scratchy would be proud. JaffaCakeLover (talk) 18:28, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
- Sky1 have shown the episode a couple of times this year. I do agree about the leg thing - i'm surprised the episode was rated PG, actually, and not only that, was on a PG-rated VHS. Wimpyguy (talk) 14:58, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
The beginning
editI don't have the greatest memory so I might be wrong here, but wasn't there a reason Homer and the nerds played a prank on the dean? Wimpyguy (talk) 14:59, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
