Unreferenced
editI'm having some problems locating sources for this article. If anyone can help me with some sources about Faiz-ul Hassan, could you drop some links. It would be nice if you could use them to source the statements in the text, but just lumping them in in a reference sections works too, I'll go over them to use them as references for specific statements. - I'm completely ignorant about this area of biography, but feel some responsibility having 'prodded' this article and seeing the heroic efforts to improve it. I have found a page here which has a link to a speech made by Hazrat Allama Sahibzada Syed Faiz-ul-Hassan Shah. The speech can be downloaded and is on the topic of Bayes-e-Takhleeq-e-Kaiynaat. I have no idea if this is our Syed Faiz-ul Hassan Shah but it is the first link I could find. Will continue trying to search.... (Have not added this to references as I can't be certain it is from our subject.)Kim Dent-Brown (Talk to me) 18:24, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
- It has been mostly user:Charles Matthews work. It's shaping up pretty good though. I don't think there are all too many Syed Faizul Hassans, so it probably is. I'm not too proficient in arabic though, I hope someone turns up who is able to dig up more sources. Martijn Hoekstra 19:27, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
References?
editThere are no citations at all of any sources to support the content of this article or establish the notability of its subject. Wikipedia (in any language) has [[WP:5|five pillars, one of which is that Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia. The text describing this says:
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia written for the benefit of its readers. It includes elements of general encyclopedias, specialized encyclopedias, and almanacs. All articles must follow our no original research policy and editors must strive for accuracy (unreferenced material may be removed, so please provide references); Wikipedia is not the place to insert personal opinions, experiences, or arguments.
I have no knowledge of Syed Faiz-ul Hassan Shah, so I cannot provide any references. But if there are editors here who can, PLEASE find newspaper, magazine, book, TV or internet sources that refer to this community. I will help you cite them (ie put them in the article) but without them the article eventually cannot survive. Kim Dent-Brown (Talk to me) 09:17, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
No sources
editThere are no sources at all for this article, which is a great shame. I realise it will be difficult to find English language sources to verify the text of this article, but we really need to do this. At present, with no sources cited, the article is in violation of the Wikipedia principle of verifiability and risks being deleted. This would be a shame because of the systematic bias against articles covering subjects outside the English speaking world. I have tried to tidy up the article, and before I take any further steps would ask anyone with information to please cite some sources. I have asked several times for help in finding references here and I'm trying to help the article survive. But if we can't get some independent verification about the topic, my next step will be to take the article to a request for comment. Kim Dent-Brown (Talk) 11:09, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
