What's Wikipedia's general stance on mods? Is this noteworthy enough for its own page? What about other mods like Olympus? 2A02:8071:7100:7A80:FC94:C00D:6139:36E7 (talk) 14:10, 31 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

The general standard (see Wikipedia:Notability) is "A topic is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list when it has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject". This specific mod is very unusual, in that it has significant coverage in sources like the BBC, NME, Metro, and the Evening Standard, as well as game sources like PC Gamer, Kotaku, Eurogamer, and IGN. Very very few games, never mind mods, receive such a degree of independent, reliable coverage. Fallout: London being notable doesn't confer any greater likelihood that other mods would be accepted - they have to pass the same standard (that's discussed in WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS). -- Finlay McWalter··–·Talk 14:42, 31 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
