Orphaned references in Family of Yulia Tymoshenko
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Family of Yulia Tymoshenko's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "tymoshenko.com.ua":
- From Oleksandr Tymoshenko: Ukraine's Gold-Plaited Comeback Kid, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (September 23, 2008 )
- From Yulia Tymoshenko: Ukraine's Gold-Plaited Comeback Kid, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (23 September 2008)
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 19:05, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

Jewish
editAn "accusation" of being Jewish - the quotation mark is not needed - is only defamatory if being Jewish is seen to be a bad thing. Therefore apparently both Tymoshenko and her opponents see Jewishness as a bad thing.Royalcourtier (talk) 04:47, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
- It does not follow that she sees Jewishness as bad if her opponents do. If Antisemitism is really still strong in the country (as Antisemitism in Ukraine#In Independent Ukraine indeed indicates), it would be understandable for her to conceal or deny any Jewish origins. Arseniy Yatsenyuk similarly downplays his Jewish descent. --Florian Blaschke (talk) 17:18, 23 March 2014 (UTC)

Armenian
editWhile she may deny the Armenian genocide, the name Grigian (Hrihyan in Ukrainian) proves that she is partly Armenian. Her paternal great-grandfather, Iosif Grigian jr. was the son of Iosif Grigian sr., an ethnic Armenian who moved to Riga and an ethnic Latvian woman named Maria. So, to summarise, she is 1/16 Armenian. 2A00:23EE:1C20:2210:43AA:674:7C44:CE40 (talk) 13:33, 30 September 2023 (UTC)
