Talk:Family tree of British monarchs

Latest comment: 1 year ago by History6042 in topic Proposal to add Prince George of Wales

First time contribution? to Wikipedia. Just wanted to point out an error in this family tree. I wanted to try to modify the tree myself the browser crashes so hopefully someone equipped with the ability to modify the tree finds this comment. The issue is that William IV and Edward, Duke of Kent are indicated below as children of George IV whereas they should in fact be brothers of George IV and children of George III. The individual articles for those people correctly indicate their parentage. A.r.mckenzie (talk) 01:24, 13 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Clarence claim

edit

Agricolae, (1)I don't like how, graphically, that line is showing the family tree. (2) It is not so important because it is not a male line and (3) we should keep this as simple as we can. The Clarence line is already on the detailed family tree. I plan to remove it. --Daduxing (talk) 10:55, 27 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

I appreciate the desire for simplicity, but the Yorks first claimed the throne through this connection and not the male line, so how can you dismiss it as unimportant? It is fundamental to understanding the competing claims. Agricolae (talk) 12:54, 27 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
OK. --Daduxing (talk) 15:30, 27 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Wonky boxes!

edit

Hi folks, some serious box wonkiness going on which needs fixing.

I don't think I have the Wikipedia chops to sort it out myself, but I'd hugely appreciate a pointer to learn how to do so... — Preceding unsigned comment added by FlyingMeeces (talkcontribs) 18:37, 21 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Proposal to add Prince George of Wales

edit

I propose that Prince George of Wales (b. 2013) should be added as next in line following William, Prince of Wales. 2601:603:4E01:2010:E83B:DA42:E012:CA5F (talk) 07:13, 17 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
