I have mixed feelings on the most-recent edit, which introduced information that Hobbes's two sons have been charged with new offenses. My concerns are as follows:
If that belongs in the article (and I'm not totally sure on the relevance), surely it doesn't belong in the "Background" section of this article, which is on the YouTube channel scandal.
I'm already a little wary of mentioning that the sons were detained under WP:BLPCRIME. I've always thought we tread that line well enough because we don't include the names—and neither did the proposed addition—but given that these are the sons of the person we do name and that her last name (which they share with her) is provided, I do think some extra caution is called for.
I added a new section that recounts the charges filed against the sons in May 2023, and included the initial dismissal of their charges I'm 2019. I think I fairly represented the situation, and I'll place it on my watchlist for further editing, once the case is adjudicated. Matuko (talk) 21:29, 15 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
