The upper picture to the left, "Fortun_old", doesn't look like the reconstruction depicted to the right. Can this be the same church? yep its pretty awesome bro
Ad-hoc translated: The church at Fortun had undergone modifications over the years, including a new choir (second floor) built with logs and a western tower from the 17th century. At Fantoft, the later additions were omitted and the church was raised like it was thought to have been originally. The missing pieces were imagined and created modelled on stave churches, in particular Borgund stavkirke. In 1940, architect Kristian Bjerknes documented several errors in the reconstruction.
