"Translations"

Currently the article starts with The Faraglioni (Italian: Fàràglíone, English: Faraglioni). The translations are in my opinion misleading. A faraglione (note the absence of accents) in Italian is a tall rock which is situated in the sea, close to the coast, protruding from the water. Faraglioni is just the plural of this, and the faraglioni described in this article just happen to be the most famous ones. So the Italian translation would be Faraglioni which makes little sense to include, as it is exactly the same word. Also the English "translation" directly takes over the Italian word and is not really instructive. I will therefore delete these "translations". WolfgangFaber 18:24, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Disambiguation

Eliminate the article?

It's just about sea stacks, a fairly common geological formation. Wikipedia already has an article on the subject. Do we need one for each language they have a name inCampolongo (talk) 07:07, 26 July 2016 (UTC)?

Go to sea stack, select the Italian equivalent page and you'll find it is 'faraglione' - this page 'faragalioni' here on English WP needs deleting and any appropriate content entered into the page at sea stack, unless it is deemed worthwhile having a page specifically on Italian sea stacks cheers Geopersona (talk) 11:10, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
