The lead says that the concerts "will be performed by the surviving members of the Grateful Dead", but Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzmann, and Mickey Hart are not the only surviving members. There's also Donna Jean Godchaux and Tom Constanten. Perhaps the wording should be changed to reflect this. Something along the lines of "will be performed by four of the surviving members of the Grateful Dead", or maybe "will be performed by four former members of the Grateful Dead". — Mudwater (Talk)11:56, 2 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
I know what you mean but Weir, Lesh, Kreutzmann and Hart are the four surviving members of the band who were actually a significant of their sound throughout the band's entire career, rather than just during a piece of the band's history. Donna Jean and TC were official members and are still alive but their contributions were not a significant part of the Dead when you look at the band's entire 30 year career. I think most fans think this way hence why Weir, Lesh, Kreutzmann and Hart have been dubbed the "core four" by many media outlets since Garcia's death. The FTW band even included Hornsby who was dubbed an "honorary member" by the aforementioned band members.— sk8punk3d288 (Talk)20:00, 26 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
