Farida Mamedova is one of the most respected scholar in Azerbaijan. Moreover, her works go beyond the national scope - her articles were published in European journals, eg [1] Her contribution to the history of Caucasian Albania is enourmous, though some of your findings are contested by fellow colleagues. However, most scholars admit her knowldge and the depth of the study on the history of Caucasian Albania.--Dacy69 23:27, 10 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Her honesty in regards to the Armenian presence in the region seems somewhat troubling [2]--MarshallBagramyan 21:20, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I say...

edit

I say keep this article. Not every article has to be huge for it to be useful in an encyclopedia, and this has good information. I'd like to see more information on this person, but their academic and publishing standings speak to me as someone who would be notable in their field.--Paul McDonald 02:18, 11 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Definitely asserts notability, though whether she passes WP:BIO is a little less clear, and should go to WP:AFD if anywhere. NickelShoe (Talk) 21:34, 11 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Picture

edit

If this article stays it would be nice to include a PD picture of Mrs. Mamedova in the article.-- Ευπάτωρ Talk!! 21:03, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Major Work

edit

Major work needs to be done on the article in regards to grammer, spelling, and conforming it to the standard of other Wiki articles. I will work on this article and try and fix it up in a few hours.Azerbaijani 20:13, 25 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

the original article on Farida Mamedova features no research at all. Jallaleddin

This page is about author bio. When I posted comment to you about OR (Original Research) - it is a term used in Wiki. Please familiarize yourself with Wiki rules. And then welcome to Wiki--Dacy69 17:31, 26 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Artaxiad - you have added info from page Ziya Buniyatov and quote is irrelevant to F.Mammedova, needlees to say such word as "blooper", which is strict POV --Dacy69 16:52, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

You don't remove a whole section because it has the word "blooper" in it just to let you know. Artaxiad 18:53, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

let's decosntruct whole section - first of all, you copy-pasted Zurbagan's text. And this text contains his POV (blooper, etc) and quotation about Ziya Bunyadov. tell me -what its relevancy to farida Mammadova except she was disciple of Bunyadov.I will talk with Zurbagan if he insists on his text here - we don't need plagiarism. Otherwise, support your edit with your own arguments and refrences. I hope finally it will be clear that Zurbagan is Jalaleddin sockpuppet --Dacy69 19:06, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for telling me, but I know he has a sock puppet, I can't do anything sadly. Artaxiad 20:52, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

And please look at page Ziya Bunyadov talkpage which reveals that Zurbagan is just plagiator and makes massive copyvio. I don't think you want to follow that pattern. Don't just copy assertions and text of other editors. Bring your quotations. And finaly, I strongly advise to consult with original sources. For example, on talkpage Urartu you presented Diakonoff quotation which is taken from a third sources - Kohl-Fawcett book about Nationalism and Archaeology and therfore you confused the Diakonoff main arguments while you should have consulted with this author's original books.--Dacy69 19:14, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

This sounds good, to narrow down POV etc. Artaxiad 20:53, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
