American system? Brazilian? Where from?
editIs this an American system? If so, then I think it should be mentioned in the first line of the article. I'm looking for information about the Brazilian system and this is confusing. Hburdon (talk) 13:46, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
- The article did indicate that but, yes, it should have been stated up front. I've take care of it. —Largo Plazo (talk) 13:53, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
Merge
editThere is a 2018 merge proposal suggesting that Shared Appreciation Agreement should merge here, but the text suggests that a better target might be Farm Service Agency, to which the former page already links. Then again, Farm Credit System does seem to have some merit. Thoughts welcome, as I'm sitting on the fence. Klbrain (talk) 12:59, 16 January 2020 (UTC)
- I'll try the alternative proposal (merge to Farm Service Agency). Klbrain (talk) 09:53, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
Terrible lack of sourcing
editWhoever wrote most of this, it seems, didn't bother to cite sources, for the most part. It is simply shocking that -- for a federal agency -- there is so little sourcing for so many statements. In fact, astoninshingly, there are whole sections with absolutely NO source cited! Did I mis-count, or are there only three source citations in the entire article? Terrible editing, and very irresponsible, IMHO. ~ Zxtxtxz (talk) 09:49, 3 July 2020 (UTC)
