Inconsistency regarding the times of the Northern and Southern Alliance.
editAccording to, Hicks, The Populist Revolt, the Northern Alliance was founded in 1887 and moved to Chicago 3 years later. But the paragraph about the Southern Alliance mentions it being influenced by the Northern Alliance in 1889. Only 2 years after the founding of the Northern Alliance, and before the newspapers and move to Chicago happened. This inconsistency is cited by the same book, just on different pages.
