copyright issue
editThe text seems to be exactly the same as in the referenced link at the bottom. Does the author of the linked page transfer copyright? I'm adding a boilerplate to the article. Shezoid 02:21, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
- As Shezoid pointed out over two years ago, the entire article is a copyright violation from http://www.fatemagcollector.com/. Kireji ¿? 23:40, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Merged
editThere was another article Fate (magazine) which was only a stub. I moved some of the text from there to appropriate places and made it a redirect to this page. Perhaps the other page should be the main page, since the title is simply FATE, right? Bubba73 (talk), 03:36, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, the title is "Fate" not "Fate Magazine" and it should rightfully be moved back. I tried to move it but couldn't because the redirect page exists, so I'll try to get the redirect deleted so the move can go through. Mermaid from the Baltic Sea 20:41, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
Who published Fate??
editAs I post this, neither this article or the magazine's official website (a blog format), gives the name of the company that published Fate. All this article says is that Phyllis Galde purchased the magazine in 2001. Even their Writer's Guidelines (pdf online) does not say. An incredible gaff. 5Q5 (talk) 16:20, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
- Okay, I found this website that answers the question: http://www.publishersglobal.com/directory/publisher.asp?publisherid=3668. It was published by Galde Press, Inc./Fate Magazine, Lakeville, USA, which may still be the owner of the website version. 5Q5 (talk) 16:24, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
Who published Fate? II
editI have just been looking at a 1970 magazine called 'Fate' in the British Library - byline 'Journal of Fantastic Reality' 7 x 4 3/4" edited by a Curtis Fuller & wife. Only it was 'Printed and published by Athol Publications Ltd, "Times" Building, Athol Street, Douglas, Isle of Man and distributed throughout the world. (c) Athol Publications Ltd.' What's going on - is it the same magazine? 78.141.195.55 (talk) 23:26, 12 August 2013 (UTC)
