editFaustin E. Wilkus The Wikipedia entry is wildly at odds with other Internet versions of Wilkus' biography. He was "king" of Gonave for two years, not eight, the meeting with the queen appears fanciful (she existed but other accounts differ about the meeting, etc.) -- I know nothing about Wirkus but there's a certain consistency to the other accounts in terms of his time in Haiti, although many contain fanciful elaborations.
