Faisal Qureshi → Faysal Qureshi – His correct name is spelled as Faysal Qureshi which can be seen on IMDb, his official Facebook page, Twitter profile and in newspapers articles. In many places his name is spelled as Faisal Qureshi which is incorrect. His correct name Faysal Qureshi can be verified.
There are three famous people named Faisal Qureshi in Pakistan.
- Faysal Qureshi - Actor
- Faisal Qureshi (comedian) - Comedian
- Faisal Qureshi - activist.
So, This page should be moved to Faysal Qureshi and Faisal Qureshi (comedian) should be moved here.

The result of the move request was: Not moved. Both spellings are found in sources, and the opinions here are divided. The spelling of his name in Urdu is known, but different romanizations are possible. EdJohnston (talk) 01:41, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
Faysal Qureshi → Faisal Qureshi – WP:COMMONNAME, the page does not have a single reliable source identifying him as "Faysal Qureshi", subject's current article title. All sources in the article identify him as "Faisal Qureshi". Wikipedia is run by it's own policies and not by IMDb, Facebook or Twitter and WP:COMMONNAME states that subject should be identified by it's most common name used in RSs present in the article. - Comment فیصل is spelled as Faisal in English but he spells his name as Faysal. If you think this page is moved to Faisal Qureshi then 50 Cent should be moved to "Fifty Cent" and Mawra Hocane should be moved to "Mawra Hussain".--Musa Talk 15:26, 21 November 2015 (UTC)
- It depends on reliable sources in 50 Cent and Mawra Hocane, anyway list the moves if you think they should be moved. It does not matter how he spells his name, that makes it WP:PRIMARY, reliable sources spell his name as "Faisal Qureshi" which means he is spelling his name wrong. Sheriff (report) 16:00, 21 November 2015 (UTC)
- Comment Just checked the sources on 50 Cent and Mawra Hocane and their articles are properly named according to reliable sources present on those pages. Sheriff (report) 16:33, 21 November 2015 (UTC)
- @SheriffIsInTown: Here are the reliable sources [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6]. The Express Tribune, DAWN, Daily Times (Pakistan) and Pakistan Today spell his name as Faysal Qureshi.--Musa Talk 16:38, 21 November 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose - there are plenty of sources that refer to him as Faysal.[7],[8] etc —МандичкаYO 😜 12:59, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
