Separate Entries?
editThis may be more effective broken into separate entries. I notice that some of this entry has been borrowed from the pre-existing Everyday Life in the Marvel Universe entry, one which this one is currently similar to. (This entry does, however, have a few items not commonly known in the Marvel Universe). --Chris Griswold 08:43, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
Mjolnir
editThor's Hammer, Mjolnir, was not created specifically for the Marvel Universe. It is featured prominently in Norse Mythology, and remains a semi-religious symbol to this day for many scandanavians.
- True, but because it is featured heavily in the MU (and wielded by a character who's featured heavily in the MU), I could see an argument for including it in the list. Though, to be more accurate, the Artifact sections should then have a line added to the effect of "In addition, some items from mythology have been prominently featured in the MU." - Additionally, some of the mythology and properties of Marvel's Mjolnir are specific to that version. Like the whole "must be worthy to pick it up" thing. --Chris Griswold 01:16, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- Was it really called Mjolnir in Norse mythology? I thought the name was Marvel's invention. --50.11.49.92 (talk) 03:42, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

Are page specific guidelines needed for this page to help development?
editIt seems like some general guidelines of what to include would be helpful. It also might be helpful to explain what is needed to develop the page and have a discussion on what to condensed. For me, this is a helpful page in seeing a what pages in the Marvel Universe could be created to help expand the project--though guidelines need to be followed in doing this.
Without page specific guideline (as reached through discussion and consensus) and see this page getting abused.
On that note, I also think this might be better as list. Though it might be helpful if a discussion on Marvel features that have real world equivalents versus those features that are completely fiction. Also, more references are needed. 42of8 (talk) 22:37, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
This page redirects to Features of the Marvel Universe but there is no mention of a white hot room anywhere in the article. Can someone who knows this universe remedy this? Liz Read! Talk! 21:57, 29 March 2014 (UTC)

S.H.E.
editShould the organization Superheroes of Europe (abr. S.H.E.) be included on this page? If so, should it be placed under Government agencies? Read more about the européan heroes here: http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix2/shesentry.htm — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.119.130.113 (talk) 14:44, 7 August 2014 (UTC)
Where does Prince Namor's "Atlantis" fit in this catelog of "Marvel"'s "lost" civilizations? --184.248.0.41 (talk) 03:24, 9 January 2016 (UTC)Veryverser
Muir Island
editMuir Island was merged onto this page in 2013. So much has happened since then (and before that date) that I feel Muir Island deserves it's own page. Heck, Muir Island Saga has it's own page. Lots42 (talk) 13:01, 24 November 2016 (UTC)
Therea
editI was redirected here when looking for Therea, a genus of cockroaches of which the Indian domino cockroach is part of. The correct page is listed as Therea (genus), which redirects to Therea (insect). My point is: why isn't there a disambiguation page on Therea, sorting people who are looking for the Marvel place and for the cockroach genus?
Kind regards, 201.81.59.23 (talk) 14:45, 3 January 2017 (UTC)
I have logged on and created the disambiguation page. Therea now redirects to it. Rariteh (talk) 15:00, 3 January 2017 (UTC)
Splitting
editI was going to nominate this for deletion, but there likely are elements worth covering elsewhere. This article is an absolute dumpster fire, so its individual sections should be split out into individual lists so they can be judged on their own merit. This current arrangement is just impossible to fix. TTN (talk) 16:49, 5 November 2020 (UTC)
- The first section could be split off as List of locations of the Marvel Universe. The second section already pointers to main articles, but a few items might need to be merged to avoid information loss. The weapons subsection is garbage. I'm not sure about packing the other items into a List of objects in the Marvel Universe, but that would mirror the DC Comics lists. Argento Surfer (talk) 17:09, 5 November 2020 (UTC)
