Did Fedco really fail due to competition with Costco et al or was there some mismanagement behind it? The author sounds like an ex employee with some strong feelings about the history of the unionization of the store, surely they have some inside info about weaknesses in the company in the later years. Also, in the list of stores, National City is listed twice, should take one out. 76.212.158.231 (talk) 10:48, 7 September 2009 (UTC) SandyReply

Other FedCo Locations?

edit

FedCo also had a store in Dallas, Texas, which is not mentioned. Someone might want to look at FedCo operations outside Southern California. The store was at East Northwest Highway and Jupiter Road, across from the Dallas Garland Airport. Worth investigating and adding. Seems incomplete at present without that information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:1C0:4C01:8AD0:0:0:0:1A3C (talk) 19:18, 18 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

FedCo in Texas is not the same company as the Fedco chain in Southern California. Under California law, Fedco was incorporated as a members-own non-profit cooperative organization, and was not allowed to expand beyond that state's borders without violating its non-profit tax status. -- 23.25.58.41 (talk) 23:28, 20 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
