How is this even an encyclopedia article? It is filled with commentary, POV, and original research. This needs a major re-write ASAP. TheLou75 (talk) 11:32, 7 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Ok, so the commentary, POV, and other problems have been mostly fixed. However, this is not a rivalry...I also support a delete. TheLou75 (talk) 01:53, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Not that this makes the article any more significant, but what a strange coincidence that these guys got married 8 days apart from each other! Shnizzedy (talk) 02:57, 6 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

There's a "citation needed" in the "2009 Wimbledon Final" section and I have a source in a interview of Mats Wilander, but it's taken by a Romanian journalist (Luminița Paul) and it's published in Romanian language (in the sports newspaper Gazeta Sporturilor). Mats is asked which was the most beautiful match of the decade and he says there are two of them: Federer-Nadal at Wimbledon 2008 and Federer-Roddick at Wimbledon 2009.
"When it comes to just tennis, I believe that last year's final was a disputed match and thanks God the score was 16-14 in the decisive set, thus becoming a classic. If Federer had won by 6-2 in the decisive set, many people wouldn't have remembered that match. I watched it carefully and, in terms of tennis, I think it was the best match I have ever seen. A great match on a difficult tennis court."
