Question
edit- What is an "allegorical portrait"? What makes it allegorical exactly? Wickethewok 19:35, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
What specifically is this apology for?
editAs a student of the Radical Reformation, it is quite interesting that it has taken hundreds of years for the evangelical church of Zurich to make a formal apology to the Anabaptist community. Does that mean that this church now accepts adult baptism as a legitimate form of baptism, or are they just apologising for murdering people for their beliefs. How deep is this apology? What now are they accepting about the Anabaptists, and in particular, are they now saying that Felix Manz was correct in his beliefs about baptism? or just that murdering someone for their religious convictions is contrary to Bible teaching?GlenninBerlin
- How about you ask THEM instead of just making empty and self-serving rhetorical gestures here? Dogface 12:17, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

First Martyr
editI replaced the information about Manz being the first martyr of the Radical Reformation. In my edit summary, I got the name Bolt Eberli turned around. Oops! The information on Eberli can be found at https://gameo.org/index.php?title=Bolt_Eberli_(d._1525). It is a common mistake/myth that Manz was the first. He may have been the first to be martyred by Protestants, since Eberli died at Catholic hands. But I am not sure on that detail. Mikeatnip (talk) 19:45, 5 July 2024 (UTC)
