Opening sentence for article

edit

I've been perusing the book Dream at a Graveside by Len Fox (1988) which is the major source for this Wikipedia article. Fox makes it clear that the FAW is a collection or federation of state-based associations. Are there any objections from any Wikipedia editors if I state this in the opening sentence for the article? As there was no dissent, I've progressed the above edit. I think there are many other ways that this article could be improved, such as paragraphs giving info for each of the FAWs in each state. I think there are currently, or have been in the recent past, FAWs in NSW, NT, Qld, SA, Tasmania, Victoria and WA. In some instances I think there's been a name change for the relevant state entity. The Len Fox has info on the state FAWs. Anyways, happy to receive comment from other editors. Research17 (talk) 04:54, 8 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
low level watching means not even comment let alone dissent -https://pageviews.wmcloud.org/?project=en.wikipedia.org&platform=all-access&agent=user&redirects=0&range=latest-90&pages=Talk:Fellowship_of_Australian_Writers - consider your expanding commendable - dont forget https://trove.nla.gov.au/?keyword=fellowship%20of%20australian%20writers - JarrahTree 05:08, 8 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Fair point. Thanks also for the suggestion about possible reliable sources on trove - I'll check this out. BTW, in my posting on 8 July above there's a minor typo - I should have written "The Len Fox book ...". Research17 (talk) 19:40, 8 July 2024 (UTC),Reply
