Dates
editThis was a real person; see below address for proof. The dates seem wrong probably because the author is using a different calendar, might be Zoroastrian. But obviously, the article's grammar is terrible.

- Thank you. I gathered that he was a real person, but the idea that the calendar might be different completely escaped my mind.
- And yes, this article is sorely in need of a good clean-up. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 07:35, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- I think it might be Islamic calendar dates (current year is 1413). But WP:MOSNUM says:
“ | Dates can be given in any appropriate calendar, as long as the date in either the Julian or Gregorian calendars is provided, as described below. For example, an article on the early history of Islam may give dates in both Islamic and Julian calendars. Where a calendar other than the Julian or Gregorian is used, this must be clear to readers.

So this article needs to give his dates in Gregorian form, to avoid the confusion which has clearly been caused by the use of the Islamic calendar. PamD (talk) 07:42, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- Found a source for his 20th-century dates! PamD (talk) 07:54, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
I believe the other dates were from the Islamic calendar. I corrected one and removed the other. Torchiest talk/contribs 19:14, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
Neutrality/NPOV
editThe article states:
“ | Ideas and special tendencies: Tavallali's poetry and prose are excellent because of fluidity, integration, meanings and rhetorical utterances. | ” |

- Concur, wp: peacock applies. But you could always edit it yourself! See WP:SOFIXIT ;-) 220 of Borg 04:43, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
New possible source
editI found a website which has a biography of Tavallali here. It gives a different year for his birth (1917) and isn't quite 'encyclopedic.' However, it is the most informative English-language source I've found. Should I go ahead and expand the article with information from here? Further input would be appreciated.
