NYSE Listing
editIt appears that Wolseley is no longer listed on the NYSE but is traded on the OTC market in the US. Read their press release here.
Why the US spelling?
editWhat's the thinking behind "Plumb Center" etc? Are customers supposed to think it is an American business? And if so, why? 86.132.139.23 (talk) 00:43, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Wolseley plc
editShouldn't this one article be split into two? Wolseley Sheep Shearing Machines and a separate one for Wolseley plc? Eddaido (talk) 07:53, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
- In principal I would support a split. Do you have any additional content which could be added to expand the treatment of Wolseley Sheep Shearing Machines in a separate article?Rangoon11 (talk) 12:59, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

Why does "Ferg" redirect to this?
edit"Ferg" is a name of Irish origin which may derive from "Ferguson". "Ferg" should link to a disambiguation page with the name, the company and people named "Ferg". FizzoXD (talk) 03:25, 13 September 2021 (UTC)
confusion with Ferguson company, now Massey Ferguson

Given both Ferguson formally Wolseley, and Ferguson-Brown Company Aka Ferguson Company, now Massey Ferguson, were farming equipment manufacturers. A wiki editor 42 (talk) 22:32, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
