Glock pistols of either USA or Austrian manufacture no longer use the Tenifer process to treat their slides. They use a 'Gas Nitride' finish on both pistols. This information was confirmed by a Glock armorer on 11/26/2013, contacted through Glock's corpotate number. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.197.155.147 (talk) 17:32, 26 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Is there any information by Glock available on the web regarding a transition to gaseous nitriding?--Francis Flinch (talk) 17:41, 26 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Too many alternate names given throughout article

edit

According to the MOS guidelines with regard to the use of bold text, alternate names for the same subject should be placed in the lead sentence (if there are only one or two) or included in a separate footnote or discrete section of the article. This article has way too many alternate trade names given throughout— these need to be condensed and separated from the rest of the text, and I am not the man to do it, I am afraid.
