Untitled
editI had a Ritmo for several years in Europe ... I admit that the car rusted easily and had electrical problems often but as far as the steering is concerned, to say that it is "... vague, imprecise and extremely heavy" is totally untrue! actually there are a number of web sites which to this day refer to the Ritmo's steering as go-cart/sports car like. I was great, one of the high points of the car, so that should be corrected in my opinion.
fuel injection
editThis was certainly not the only 80's hot hatch without fuel injection - Ford Fiesta XR2, Citroen AX GT, Peugeot 106 Rallye all lacked fuel injection. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.149.126.233 (talk) 20:46, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
Stray 'edit' buttons
editAll the edit links for the different sections were all in the 'Revival of the Ritmo name' bit, obscurring some of the text. I moved an image to try and fix it but it just seems to have moved the links elsewhere. If someone could fix this that'd be great... Two Facelifts ?
editThe article refers to a face lift. From the outside, post face lift Ritmos are easy to distinguish because the bumper design is simplified front and back: and the front grill is also less controversial post face lift. However, SOME post face lift cars have round door handles (apparently like those on the original version) while others have rectangular door handles. Presumably the change was made on cost grounds, so would not necessarily have been trumpeted from the roof tops in marketing materials. However, it also would have made no sense for the factory to try and produce the same car simultaneously with two completely different door handle cut-outs and mechanisms. Can anyone remember - or find from some old service manual - if there was, in fact, and at some stage, a second face lift advertised? Thanks for any thoughts on itCharles01 06:41, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, there was a second facelift which changed the handles design (before round, after squared, smilar to that of Regata) and slightly also the front part.--Carnby (talk) 23:20, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
