Questions and confusions
edit1) Both names are acceptable as a 'Fibonacci crystal' denotes a quasicrystal and a 'Fibonacci' quasicrystal is a specific type of quasicrystal.
So are the two terms synonymous or not? Does "Fibonacci crystal" denote any quasicrystal, a specific type of quasicrystal or a specific quasicrystal?
2) The Fourier transform of such arrangements consists of discrete values, which is the defining property for crystals.
and yet
Their diffraction pattern would be of a square type with the intensities arranged in a fractal pattern.
A fractal isn't discrete. What is the actual definition of a crystal?

- This article is extremely weak, I am sorry to say. It never defines a Fibonacci quasicrystal, but merely recounts some properties they have, many of which are shared with all quasicrystals, without designating certain properties as the actual definition.
