Writ of Fieri Facias
editThere should be a link to http://www.constitution.org/bouv/bouvier_f.htm and perhaps there should be links to http://law.justia.com/virginia/codes/toc0800100/8.01-474.html http://law.justia.com/virginia/codes/toc1601000/16.1-98.html rumjal 00:51, 25 December 2008 (UTC). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rumjal (talk • contribs)
External link
editThe link to "A Dictionary of the Vulgar Tongue" (http://www.harvestfields.ca/etextLinks/31/00.htm) returns a 404 error and I am unable to find the relative content on the website. I assume it was a link to the 1785 book a slang dictionary for gentlemen but the only relevant content in that is "FIERI FACIAS. A red-faced man is said to have been served with a writ of fieri facias." (Source: https://www.archive.org/stream/1811dictionaryof05402gut/dcvgr10.txt) so I don't think it is worth linking to and so, if no one objects, I'm going to delete the link.
