This anime is listed in the chapter "Non-hentai anime and manga where yuri or shoujo-ai is central to the story". After having read the summary of the plot I asked myself why this is the case. Does some kind of a romantic relationship develop between Tsubasa and Hikaru? Greetings -- 88.77.244.195 19:23, 17 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

A deep relationship between them does develop, but I wouldn't call it romantic at all. It sounds to me that whoever said that is confusing the concept of yuri. -- Ned Scott 04:20, 18 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Shoujo-ai could be considered sisterly love; the term means love between girls, just not a romantic or sexual kind of love. Yuri, on the other hand, does imply romantic or sexual. 69.146.116.65 19:10, 27 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Okay, here's the deal: The dub credits list "Willow Armstrong" as the voice of Hikaru; however when I listen to her voice it sounds like a cross between young Kari's (Digimon) and Jun (Juniper Lee). The question I pose is, was Laura Jill Miller (who played Kari and Jun) acting under a pseudonym? 69.146.116.65 19:03, 27 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, that was LJM. This was done during her run on Digimon, so she might not have wanted Saban to know she was doing this at the same time. Either that or union regulations. But yeah, if you go to her Wiki page, you'll see she was listed under Willow Armstrong. And come to think of it, Hikaru kind of looks like Kari. 152.7.0.233 (talk) 04:23, 10 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Cast list

edit

I have removed this list from the article as I feel a character's list should be in place rather than this and the character/cast combined as in other articles. I haven't read the series so I don't know about the characters, if anyone can provide details it would help. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 19:43, 28 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

About tone

edit

I tried to improve the article tone to be more encyclopedic. Should we take the tone issue header off now? --AtollUphill (talk) 02:39, 19 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

I've made some further adjustments to the language used within the article, and I believe the article no longer requires the issue header. Additionally, the header was added in 2009, when the article was significantly less encyclopedic in its tone, so I believe that the issue is relatively solved at this point. roni | talkstuff |  20:03, 18 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Citation issue and potential change to C-class

edit

I believe that recent contributions by several users have improved this article, and I suggest that changing this article to a C-class grade should maybe be considered. I am not entirely sure whether the citations of the article are fully regulated, or if more sources both in quantity and reliability are still required, though I suggest that removing the citation issue header should also perhaps be considered. -- roni | talkstuff |  20:15, 18 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
