X files
editIs it only me or do you also think that there are a lot of allusions to The X-Files in this cartoon? The most obvious ones are the name of X Middle School and the composition of the detective team.
whatever from laura rose turner
- I think that it's more along the lines of X for anonymous, rather than X for Unexplained/X-Files. X-Middle school should probably be read 'Generic Middle School', or 'any-old middle school'.
- It could be a reference to Malcolm X, for that matter. -Grammaticus Repairo 04:31, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
No mention of any movement for DVD release.
Pokémon reference
editI think in one episode a gym teacher told her students that their human pyramid is as indestructeble as a Geodude using his harden attack. (I guess this could be added to "notes") —Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.207.32.37 (talk) 14:25, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
Thats true. I remember some other references too including disney recess.
Minnesota?
editShould this show be in the "Television shows set in Minnesota" category? It apparently has been since the article was created, but I don't remember any evidence that X was anywhere in particular, nor does the article itself mention the show being set there. What am I missing? - 146.57.87.118 (talk) 00:45, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
Well the first episode says it's north of Tennessee, (Fillmore's partner moved south there). --Armanalp (talk) 19:26, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
I don't think "North of Tennessee" automatically implies Minnesota. There are a lot of states north of Tennessee. 146.57.87.118 (talk) 06:20, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
I think this is set in Virginia or Maryland. It's close to Tennessee where Fillmore's partner is and in the episode about the Canadians Ingrid goes to the Canadian Embassy. Embassies are only placed in national capitals whereas consulates are in other cities. Vallejo does say "Canadian Consulate" but I think that the tour guide at the embassy says "embassy." That means that wherever X Middle School is, it is close to the Canadian Embassy which would be in Washington, DC. Therefore, I think that X Middle School is in Virginia (my preferred location hypothesis given its proximity to Tennessee) or Maryland. 150.203.110.172 (talk) 14:30, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
Horatio?
editHow did you get Horatio as Vallejo's first name? The actor playing him is Horatio Sanz but in the only episode where his name would be mentioned, it's muffled. 150.203.110.172 (talk) 14:31, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
Cornelious
editFillmore's middle name is actually revealed in act 1, from episode 1 S1 and act 1 episode 2 S1. not in the crhistmas special. I changed that line of course. Anyone who wants proof, can go to youtbe and see those episode. His middle name is clearly heard. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Drumerwritter (talk • contribs) 03:43, 28 December 2015 (UTC)
- Perhaps, but so what? We typically don't include as incontrovertible fact a one-off reference to a character's middle name. If the character is repeatedly referred to by this name, or credited by this name at the end of the episode, then perhaps. Otherwise, it's trivia. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 04:32, 28 December 2015 (UTC)
Episodes 1 & 2 are just two of many other examples on wich Fillmore's first name is heard (not to mention all the times his full name is shown when his desk is seen). i'll change it again. Please dont erase it this time, havve some respect for those who want accurate information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Drumerwritter (talk • contribs) 06:35, 30 December 2015 (UTC)
- Are you talking about his first name, or his middle name? The first name appears in the opening credits, so it's confusing why you're bringing it up. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:23, 30 December 2015 (UTC)
