"Film at 11" out-Googles "Film at eleven" easily. In fact, so does "Film at 11:00"! Both "11" and "eleven" are normally acceptable textual representations of the spoken idiom, so you did not have a valid reason in the first place. Of the choices, "11", "11:00", "eleven" or even "XI", "Film at 11" is the most common written form, so it takes priority.
TV stations don't list "eleven" on their webpages either for a time, so you really didn't have a point. For what it's worth, "Film @ 11" out-Googles all the choices except "Film at 11". Choor monster (talk) 14:27, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
News at 11
editA quick Google reveals the phrase is an entry at urbandictionary.com (pretty much meaningless), and it is used by TV stations on their websites for the name of their 11 o'clock broadcast (which is just a statement of fact).
Note that the "Film at 11" etymology is explained regarding the days when actual "film" was used, and it took time to develop. "News at 11" is self-explanatory, so it doesn't really fit in here. It cannot get equal billing with the phrase here, although a comment somewhere that this phrase has displaced the other one is acceptable. Choor monster (talk) 11:50, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
Mental floss
editPerhaps the mental floss entry was cribbed from here? It might be better as an external link, and so not look like an actual, reliable source. Choor monster (talk) 18:54, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
