Filtering
editIt really is NOT common for homebrewers to filter beer. We may let the yeast drop out of suspension, but filtering methods such as DE filters or packaged media are generally not used. 76.100.114.214 (talk) 01:27, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
Revision of page
editThis page is listed on Wikipedia:WikiProject_Beer as being in need of copyediting. After looking through it a few times I've decided to do a wholesale re-write to make the article more informative and up-to-date. This will take a few weeks, of course. I propose to:
- add a section on historical filtering, including Egyptian and Sumerian methods
- add sections on types of filters
- add sections on filtering techniques
- clarify the section on homebrewing, and bring it up to date
- fix and add references
If there are other corrections/additions/etc to be made, please help out by discussing them here, or dropping me a note on my talk page. Prof. Mc (talk) 12:57, 13 May 2014 (UTC)
